     Losing weight and keeping it off requires dedication, the right priorities and a willingness to work at it. You have to go into it prepared, knowing what you will need to do in order to succeed. Diet Sites (lifestyle and eating habit changes) - We really like these types of sites, they can be a bit more expensive than just buying some "miracle drug", but they help not only the promotion of weight loss but of a food-lifestyle change. This change is what's really needed in order to keep the weight off once you've lost it. It's far too common for people to lose weight quickly with those drugs but once the drugs are gone the weight comes back hard and fast, and when that happens you're out all the money you dumped into those pills.

All that being said there is a place for those pills, which is our second category, alongside a good diet, exercise plan and lifestyle change they can greatly increase your weight loss successes. We've listed a number of the better and safer ones at the bottom this page and some really good stores that sell them and others as well.

Just remember, these sites, products and weight loss programs are made for you to lose weight, but you will only get out of them what you put into them, losing weight isn't easy but is well worth the effort!

The big selling point here is that they will cook all your food, up to 3 meals a day, at either 1200 or 1600 calories for the day. The meals come in standard, low-carb or vegetarian. And don't think these meals don't look delicious, they do, plus you can read some reviews of what people really think of them.

There is a community forum to discuss weight loss issues and successes to keep you motivated.

You can even buy a number of healthy snacks for those between-meal hunger pangs that crop up from time-to-time.

They will provide you with a free analysis so you can discuss your particular weight loss needs and what specifically you would like to achieve from their program.

Plus, with your first order you get a free exercise DVD, the exercises on it are great, they are low-impact, easy on the joints but definitely gi

These guys start you off by asking you to take a personality quiz to help them customize a weight loss plan for you (this can be skipped if you want).

You can join for free but are limited in the type of personalization and help you can receive, but you can still access all the community help, join the weight loss challenges, get 1000's of healthy recipes and more.

The community here is great and active, it includes blogs, forums and various tips, this of course helps you stay motivated and can share in others' successes. They have experts in different fields to help along the road to safe weight loss who provide help and advice.

There are videos that you can watch on exercise, cooking techniques and success stories.

They also have a nice option where you can find a buddy to work with on both of your weight loss goals.

The Biggest Loser Weight Loss SystemThe Biggest Loser

You may know the TV show "The Biggest Loser", well, this is the show personalized for you on your computer!

Like most diet programs, The Biggest Loser gives you a diet and exercise regiment to follow, provides you with a community that you get access to of others in the program for new ideas and motivation. The exercise program is customized to a certain extent, keeping in mind what your limitations are and what you have access to.

They also provide you with a nice newsletter and the ability to keep a daily journal to help you keep track of your progress, helping you stay motivated while you lose weight.

Lose Weight with Jillian MichaelsJillian Michaels

The main reason we like this site is that it's not run/operated by any big companies. Jillian Michaels has a great history of helping people lose weight and get healthy.

Everything is customized to your needs, your meals, your exercises, everything. Jillian can answer your questions and help you along the way.

Another great thing is that she doesn't set up anything to be done at the gym if you don't want it, and the program is only $5/wk.

This site doesn't have the bells and whistles that some of the others do, however it can provide you with all the knowlege and support that you need to lose that weight!!

eDiets is a great weight loss site with multiple plans to choose from, among many other diet options, they have 15+ different specialized plans to choose from, the main ones are:
